|Learning, communication and work platform for the transition from school to work|
|operator||Federal Institute for Vocational Training|
qualiboXX was a nationwide learning platform run by the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training , which was replaced by the "überaus" platform in October 2016. The target group were professional educators , educational staff and students. The aim was professional integration .
The qualiboXX project was started in 2008 by the association Schools on the Net and funded by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research ; the project's internet platform went online in October 2008. The portal has been operated by the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training since 2012 . The project and the website were replaced in 2016 by the expanded specialist unit "extremely".
The exchange took place in a nationwide networked community that was subject-related and regionally structured. An accompanying structure was made available to national or state-wide initiatives and programs.
Communication and work platform
The "community" was supplemented by a web-based communication and work platform. Here, educational organizations could use a separate work area to facilitate internal and external exchange, for example with vocational schools and training companies. In this way, qualiboXX supported the network work as well as the cooperation between learning locations .
The open area of the portal contained information on all aspects of the transition from school to work, such as career orientation, career preparation , training, dealing with digital media in learning and teaching, and vocational training policy .
