Quality and Reliability , or QZ for short, is the leading trade journal for quality management in industry and services in German-speaking countries. The main focus of the publications published there are practical and cross-sectoral work on quality management systems and methods as well as corresponding regulations (e.g. standards such as ISO 9001 ), questions of product liability , production measurement technology and testing technology.

The QZ was published for many years from 1970 to 1997 by Walter Masing and then from 1997 to 2004 by Gerd Fritz Kamiske .

This trade journal QZ is still the most important means of communication of the German Society for Quality (DGQ).
