Quellinus (artist family)

Quellinus ( Latinized from Quellin ) is the name of a Flemish family of painters and sculptors from the 17th century, mainly based in Antwerp , and the Quellinus School of Applied Arts in Amsterdam. The artist family includes:

• Erasmus Quellinus I (around 1584–1640), sculptor
  • Erasmus Quellinus II (1607–1678), painter
    • Jan Erasmus Quellinus (1634–1715), painter
  • Artus Quellinus I (1609–1668), sculptor
  • Hubertus Quellinus (1619–1687), engraver and draftsman

• Artus Quellinus II. , Also called the Younger , (1625-1700), sculptor (Erasmus Quellinus I was his uncle)
  • Artus Quellinus III. , also Arnold Q. or erroneously called Jan Erasmus , (1653–1686), sculptor
  • Cornelis Quellinus (1658–1709), painter,
  • Thomas Quellinus (1661–1709), sculptor, active in Copenhagen
