Quentin Robinot (* 7. January 1993 in Paris ) is a French table tennis - national team .

Career

Quentin Robinot won the title with the team four times in a row at the European Youth Championships from 2008 to 2011. In 2009 he won the individual competition. In 2011 he was also European youth champion in doubles with Simon Gauzy , in singles he lost to his compatriot Tristan Flore in the final. With Simon Gauzy he became vice world champion in the youth doubles in 2010 and 2011.

Quentin Robinot caused a sensation when he defeated reigning Olympic champion Ma Lin in the adult division at the Swedish Open 2011 . At the last three World Championships (2011-2013) he was part of the French national team. At the 2013 European Championships in Schwechat, Robinot reached the quarter-finals and had to admit defeat to the eventual winner Dimitrij Ovtcharov.

In the 2013/2014 season, Robinot competes with the French first division club GV Hennebont.

Private

Quentin Robinot's younger brother Alexandre also plays table tennis and was able to celebrate some successes in his youth.
