Cross-sectional orientation

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

One speaks of cross-sectional orientation when the aspects of different groups are taken into account and treated equally in planning projects. It is in contrast to hierarchical planning.

Has become particularly important is the cross-sectional orientation in recent years in regional planning , the urban planning , the district planning or traffic planning . The inclusion of everyone, i.e. both those affected by the respective planning project and those involved in the planning (e.g. architects, civil engineers), should make sustainable development possible. Cross-cutting is an important principle of Agenda 21 .
