Quin Zaza - The Last Dragon Catchers ( Japanese 空 挺 ド ラ ゴ ン ズ , Kūtei Dragons ) is a manga series by Taku Kuwabara that has been published in Japan since 2016. The work falls into the genres of his own , comedy , action, drama, adventure and fantasy and has been translated into several languages.

The flying ship Quin Zaza travels with its crew through the skies to hunt dragons. The meat of these rare animals and their oil is in great demand, but they are also dangerous and sometimes attack people. The inhabitants of the cities are grateful to the dragon hunters if they protect them from a dragon. However, the hunters are not allowed into cities, as they were often criminals in the past and the reputation of attracting dragons follows them. On the Quin Zaza, the harpooner Mika serves under the command of Gibbs. The new colleague Takita will take care of him. She learns quickly and soon falls in love with young Mika. But he is only interested in the harpooner Vanni, if at all besides the food.

The series has been published in Good! Magazine since June 2016 . Afternoon at Kodansha Publishing . He brought out the chapters in five anthologies so far. Volume 5 sold over 28,000 copies in the first week after it was released. In 2017 the series was nominated for the Manga Taisho Award.

A German translation of the series has been published by Manga Cult since February 2019, with three volumes so far. An English version is published by Kodansha and a Spanish version by Milky Way Ediciones .
