Quintus Antonius Isauricus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quintus Antonius Isauricus was a Roman politician living in the 2nd century AD .

Isauricus is listed on an inscription found in York that is dated to the mid-130s; at this time he was legate of the Legio VI Victrix . Based on another inscription, a fragment of the Fasti feriarum Latinarum , it was originally assumed that he was a suffect consul with Lucius Aurelius Flaccus in 140 . Due to a new military diploma , however, it is now assumed that the two have held office either 156 or 157.
