Quintus Fuficius Cornutus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quintus Fuficius Cornutus was a Roman politician living in the 2nd century AD .

Through military diplomas , e.g. Some of them are dated September / October 145 and August 11, 146, it is documented that he was governor ( Legatus Augusti pro praetore ) of the province of Pannonia inferior from 145 to 146 ; possibly he held this office until 147, when he became a suffect consul . In the Fasti Ostienses he is listed as consul with Aulus Claudius Charax ; the two took office on April 1 of that year. Another diploma proves him in 152 as governor of Moesia inferior .
