Quoridor is a strategy game for two or four people by Mirko Marchesi . It was published in 1997 in various countries by the game publishers FX Schmid , Gigamic and the Great American Trading Company .
regulate
The playing field consists of 9 × 9 fields and the goal is to be the first to reach the opposite side of the board with your own piece. At the beginning, each player still has a few walls: 20 pieces are distributed fairly between the players. It is played in turn, the token (provided the path is not blocked) can be moved in all four directions. Instead of a move of his pawn, the player can also place a 2-square-long wall and thus block the path of the opponent - or keep a corridor open. It should be noted that after each move, all parties must still have the opportunity to reach their target page and that they are not allowed to cross the wall stones themselves.
