The Games Magazine (own notation: GAMES) is an American magazine , which deals with games and puzzles. The magazine is published by Games Publications, a division of the Kappa Publishing Group .

Games 100

A list of the best games is published each year in the December issue of Games Magazine. In addition to the Game of the Year and several other prizes in various categories, a total of 100 games ( Games 100 ) will be presented. Until 1994 there was a Game of the Year , from 1995 a distinction was made between traditional games and computer games. Since 1996, the December issue of Game of the Year has been chosen for the following year.
