Eurogames was founded by Jeux Rexton in early 1989 and directed by the Italian game designer Duccio Vitale . Euro Games took over first six games of the bankrupt Italian game publisher International Team : Little Big Horn , Yom Kippur , Okinawa , Colonisator , Zargos and Fief 2 .

At the end of 1989, Jeux Rexton ended all activities in the games area and Eurogames became independent.

Eurogames was later bought by the Jeux Descartes publishing house and the games were released under the Eurogames / Descartes label . After Jeux Descartes went bankrupt, the French publisher Asmodée Editions took over the rights on September 3, 2004.

In a short interlude, Eurogames licenses were awarded to the publisher Café Games .
