Quotation Board

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Quotation Board is a stock exchange segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange regulated by private law . It includes stocks and bonds that are only listed on the open market in Frankfurt, but are traded on at least one other stock exchange in a regulated market . In addition to the Basic Board and the Scale, the Quotation Board is one of the three "transparency segments" with increased admission requirements in the Frankfurt Open Market .

history

In 2008 the Frankfurt Stock Exchange set up the two new Regulated Unofficial Market segments, First Quotation Board and Second Quotation Board . The former comprised securities that are only listed on the open market, the latter those securities that are also traded in a regulated manner on another stock exchange. Due to an ongoing series of fraud cases, the rules for the First Quotation Board were initially tightened several times; around 100 out of 300 participants then left the exchange. Finally, it was completely discontinued in 2012 and the Second Quotation Board was renamed Quotation Board .

The reorganization of the Open Market in March 2017 had no impact on the Quotation Board.
