The Réserve écologique André-Linteau ( French for "Ecological Protected Area André-Linteau") is a 91.13 hectare protected area in the Canadian province of Québec .

These protected areas are mostly inaccessible to the public, with the exception of four protected areas, namely Serpentine-de-Coleraine , Forêt-la-Blanche , Tourbières-de-Lanoraie and the Île-Brion .

The André-Linteau Protected Area is 5 km northwest of the parish of Rapides-des-Joachims in the county of Pontiac . It serves to protect a location of the Weymouth pine or strobe. It is the largest species of conifer in eastern North America and is up to 500 years old. The hilly area is between 250 and 500 m above sea level, the protected tree species stands on a terrace around 50 m above the Ottawa .

The protected area was named after André Linteau (1910–1966), the first to receive a doctorate in forestry. He was a professor at the Faculté de foresterie et de de géodésie at the Université Laval and has made a contribution to the conservation and research of Québec's forests.
