The Río Carcarañá is a 240 km long river in central Argentina .

The river is formed by the confluence of the Río Tercero and the Río Saladillo at Cruz Alta in the southeast of the province of Cordoba . It then flows in an easterly direction into the province of Santa Fe , past the city of Carcarañá and finally joins the Río Paraná south of Gaboto .
