The Rößler Museum in Untermünkheim is a furniture museum. It mainly shows classic rural dowry furniture such as cupboards, chests and four-poster beds .

exhibition

In historical buildings in the center of Untermünkheim, painted rustic furniture from the area around Schwäbisch Hall and Hohenlohe is shown on 500 m² . Johann Heinrich Rößler's family of carpenters began to manufacture farm furniture in the 18th century. The furniture was often sold and apprentices from the company sometimes set up their own workshops that made similar pieces. From the generation of Johann Michael Rößler , the works were therefore also signed. In addition to the furniture of the Rößler family, imitations and works by the Glessing family are also on display.

The culture and support association in the Rößler Museum takes care of the exhibition and volunteers look after the museum during opening hours.
