Roast och men is the second Swedish music album by Nicolai Dunger . Loosely translated it roughly means "The Voice and the Master". The album is dedicated to his mother, who died in 2005. It only contains traditional Swedish songs that Nicholai's mother sang to him as a child.

History of origin

For Nicolai, the work on the album Rösten och Herren was an attempt to overcome the loss of his mother and his loneliness. In 2010 he gave interviews in which he said he was not doing well; "the only way out of this mess were traditional songs that brought me back to where it all began".
