Rúnar Alex Rúnarsson (born February 18, 1995 ) is an Icelandic football goalkeeper .

Career

society

In January 2012 he received his first professional contract with KR Reykjavík . He was previously active in the club's U-19s. From January to July 2014 he moved to Denmark for FC Nordsjaelland . Here, too, he was initially used in the U-19. He has been playing for the pros since the 2014/15 season.

National team

On November 8, 2017, he made his competitive debut in the senior national team in a friendly against the Czech Republic . He was part of the final squad for the 2018 World Cup , but was not used.
