Residue (chemistry)

Under residues in chemistry refers to a residual amount of pollutants , foreign and additives from chemical reactions . The term Schlunz has also become common colloquially . Residues arise during the processing, processing (e.g. incineration ) of substances . The solid residue that occurs when substances are burned - such as B. Heating oil - remains, is colloquially also called ash .
