Kevin Connor

Kevin Connor (born September 24, 1937 in London ) is a British film director who became known in the 1970s for Edgar Rice Burroughs film adaptations.

Life

Kevin Connor grew up in London during World War II . After leaving school he found employment in the British film industry. In the 1960s he was responsible for sound editing. From the 1970s to the 1980s, he also worked as a film editor . As such, Connor was there for his collaboration on the film Oh! What a Lovely War was nominated for the BAFTA Award in the Best Editing category in 1970.

In 1974 he made his first film as a director for Amicus Productions . When the film company ceased operations, he went to the USA . Since then he has been working there for television.

Kevin Connor is married and has one child.
