Ruegen Park
The Rügenpark is an amusement park in Gingst on the Baltic Sea island of Rügen .
The park, which is only open from April to the beginning of November, is one of the smaller amusement parks in Germany . The area of the park extends to 40,000 m² on the outskirts of Gingst.
Attractions
The park offers around 15 rides , which are included in the entrance fee.
The individual attractions are:
- Super slide - larger slide
- Luna Loop - occupants of a gondola go in circles and are turned upside down
- Horse riding track - mechanical riding horses for children
- Nautic jets - a boat slides from a hill into a water basin
- Rondello - electrically operated carousel controlled by the passengers
- Whitewater Rondell - a carousel that turns quickly in the water
- Cable car - small cable car for one person each
- Butterfly - carriage for two people moves up and down several times in a semicircle
- Jetscooter - ride devices for children to use for coins
- Hüpfberg
- Holiday swing - normal swings
- Komet - electrically operated gondola that sways horizontally
- Petting zoo - with several goats and sheep
- Family Gravity Coaster - height 6 meters, length 85 meters, top speed 25 km / h, manufacturer: Zamperla. The roller coaster opened in August 2010.
A railway Emma drives on a circuit through the park. There is a self-service restaurant in the back of the park. A moving life-size replica dinosaur is a popular photo opportunity.
All rides with the exception of the park railway, the roller coaster and the whitewater rondell were built by the Bremen-based attraction manufacturer Heege.
Miniatures
In addition, there are around 100 large, true-to-scale replicas of international landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty , the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the German Reichstag in the park . In one region of the park, the heavily structured island of Rügen with its most important buildings is incorporated into the park as a model.
