The locomotives of the series ЭП20 (EP20) of the Russian Railways (RŽD) are wide-gauge (1520 mm) electric locomotives . They were developed by a joint venture between Alstom and Transmashholding and presented in 2010 by the Novocherkassk electric locomotive factory .

In May 2010, the RŽD ordered 200 locomotives of this series, which are to be delivered between spring 2011 and 2020.

Among other things, they are intended for the Moscow – Sochi high-speed line, which is due to go into operation by the 2014 Winter Olympics .
