The professor was a single-seat glider that was designed by Alexander Lippisch for the Rhön-Rossitten-Gesellschaft (RRG).

construction

With a deliberately simple design, a high-wing aircraft supported by V-shaped struts with a three-part wing with a span of 16 meters was created. The fuselage with a hexagonal cross-section had a normal tail unit.

use

On August 8, 1928, Robert Kronfeld won the 1928 Rhön gliding competition on Rhöngeist , the professor's prototype, with 7 hours 54 minutes, the endurance price.
