Lists on the subject

The RT-20 ( Croatian abbreviation for Ručni Top 20 mm = "hand cannon 20 mm") is an anti-materiel rifle of the Croatian army . It was during the Croatia war from the Croatian state-owned enterprises RH Alan (now Agencija Alan) for the destruction of thermal imagers enemy main battle tanks of the types M 84 and T-72 developed and is since 1993 used.

An RT-20 in action (2009).

The RT-20 is a very simply constructed single-shot rifle that is strongly reminiscent of a bullpup rifle . It uses 20 × 110mm Hispano ammunition that creates immense recoil when fired . For this reason, another pipe was installed above the barrel that allows the gases generated after the launch to escape to the rear and acts as a recoil reducer. As a result, it is very large compared to other rifles of the same class and because of the rear gas ejection, the sniper must pay attention to the placement of the weapon during use.
