RTL / ProSieben Switzerland was a joint broadcaster of ProSiebenSat.1 Media and the RTL Group . The hiring took place after seven months in March 2000.

history

On August 16, 1999, RTL / ProSieben Switzerland started the first issue of the short news program Express Start .

The evening program from Monday to Friday between 6:00 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. was jointly produced.

RTL and ProSieben owned 25% each of the station. Other owners were BC Medien Holding AG and Medien Z Holding AG. The range was 1.7 million households. With a market share of 10.4%, the program window was the most successful private program offering in Switzerland at this time. However, it did not achieve the success expected by shareholders and was therefore discontinued in March 2000. However, after 15 years of absence, starting October 8, 2015, it will be revived and replaced by a new channel called Pulse Eight .
