Raúl Becerra Egaña
Raúl Becerra Egaña (born November 27, 1941 in Havana ) is a Cuban diplomat .
Life
He studied foreign trade in the GDR at the Berlin School of Economics . From 1973 to 1979 he was a Cuban Trade Councilor in Austria and Switzerland . Management positions in the Cuban Foreign Trade Ministry followed. From 2001 to 2006 he was a trade councilor in Germany. In 2006 he became chairman of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce. In 2009 he took over the office of Cuban ambassador to Germany , which he held until 2013.
In addition to Spanish , he also speaks German and English .
