Raúl Cabanas (born March 31, 1986 in Spain ) is a Swiss-Spanish football player. He plays in midfield .
Cabanas comes from a football family. His uncle, Ricardo Cabanas Sr., was already a well-known football player. His cousins Ricardo and Christian also play football successfully.
Cabanas was active at Grasshopper Club Zurich from 2005 to 2008 , but was rarely used. In the 2007/08 season Cabanas moved to the second division club FC Wohlen . In 2010 he was signed to FC Winterthur. From 2010 to 2014 and since 2015 Cabanas has played for the SC Young Fellows Juventus, currently in the Promotion League , where he has meanwhile moved to FC United Zurich .
