Ra'uf Raschid Abd ar-Rahman ( Arabic رؤوف رشيد عبد الرحمن, DMG Raʾūf Rašīd ʿAbd ar-Raḥmān , also Rauf Rashid Abd al-Rahman ; Kurdish ڕەئووف ڕەشید عەبدولڕەحمان Reûf Reşîd Ebdulrehman ; * 1941 in Halabdscha ) is a former Iraqi , Kurdish judge in the five-member tribunal ( Supreme Iraqi Criminal Tribunal ) in the trial of the dictator Saddam Hussein . Ra'uf Raschid Abd ar-Rahman, originally deputy to the presiding judge and also a Kurd, Rizgar Muhammad Amin , took over the presidency after Rizgar Amin submitted his resignation as presiding judge in the trial of Saddam Hussein on January 14, 2006.

Saddam Hussein was sentenced to death by hanging by Ra'uf Raschid Abd ar-Rahman on November 5, 2006.

According to local Iraqi media reports, Ra'uf Raschid Abd ar-Rahman was captured and killed by ISIS members in June 2014 . This was later denied.
