Rabel's Journal for Foreign and International Private Law (RabelsZ) is a quarterly legal journal published by Mohr Siebeck Verlag since 1927 . It contains academic contributions on comparative law , foreign and international private law, standardization of law and European law . The journal was first published in 1927 as a journal for foreign and international private law by Ernst Rabel , who is considered the founder of comparative law in Germany. Since the 26th year (1961) it has had the name of its founder in the title. The current editors are Jürgen Basedow , Holger Fleischer and Reinhard Zimmermann .
