Rabensteiner from Wirsberg
The Rabensteiner von Wirsberg were a local noble Franconian knight family .
The Rabensteiners from Wirsberg sat on several castle estates in Wirsberg , one of which is today's Rabenstein Castle right next to St. John's Church . The Rabenstein Castle in Wirsberg, which they received in 1489 as a fief, was destroyed shortly thereafter.
The part of the coat of arms with the raven is an indication that they emerged from the von Rabenstein family at Rabenstein Castle .
