Rachael Wilson

Rachael Marie Wilson (* 1989 in Las Vegas ) is an American opera singer with a mezzo-soprano voice .

biography

Rachael Wilson studied singing at the Juilliard School in New York. From 2013 to 2015 she was a member of the opera studio of the Bavarian State Opera, took part in its productions of Mirandolina (as Deianira) and Le comte Ory (as Dame Ragonde) and performed in roles such as: B. Sandman in Hansel and Gretel , Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly and Alisa in Lucia di Lammermoor . From the 2015/16 to 2018/2019 season she played numerous small and medium-sized roles as a member of this ensemble, and since 2017 also larger roles such as Dorabella in Così fan tutte , Fatime in Oberon , Hansel in Hansel and Gretel and Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro She has been a member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Stuttgart since the 2019/2020 season, where she made her debut as a jump-in in the title role of Carmen in October 2019 .
