The Jam On Radio (formerly RadioIndustrie) is an alternative hip-hop and training radio in the city of Zug . As a non-commercial Swiss local radio station , Jam On Radio is a member of UNIKOM .
history
On April 27, 2007, as part of the 25th anniversary of industrie45 in Zug, it was decided to build a new radio. The radio initially existed as a web radio , but within a short time a possibility for cable broadcasting was found together with the WWZ . Since August 2007, RadioIndustrie has been broadcasting not only on the Internet but also on the FM frequency 101.65 MHz.
In order to present the project and make it known, RadioIndustrie had three opportunities to broadcast for one month each time over a terrestrial VHF frequency : In the summer of 2007, 2008 and 2010, the station could be received anywhere in the canton of Zug at any time.
Since September 23, 2011, the radio has focused its music and entertainment area on hip-hop, while the previous presenters continue to present their genre programs at their airtime.
In 2017 the former youth radio radio industry renamed itself and sees itself as the “only Swiss urban music radio” under the name Jam On Radio.
structure
In the course of the first two years of broadcasting, solid structures gradually formed and new moderators, together with the editorial team, developed a constantly expanding radio program. The broadcasters at RadioIndustrie work on a voluntary basis and so there are always program changes. However, some broadcasters have been involved since the beginning of the project and their programs have been given a permanent place in Zug's (radio) cultural landscape. Since the summer of '09, a team of reporters has been formed, which is journalistic and produces articles and programs on current topics.
program
Radio industry plays a constantly updated selection of hip-hop rap, breakbeat about big beat, etc. The day of be in the rotation performers from all sorts of hip-hop divisions played.
