The Radio ( Russian Радио ) is a Russian, monthly scientific and technical journal, dedicated to the amateur radio , the home electronics , audio equipment , video equipment , computers and telecommunications dedicated. According to the company, the magazine appears in 64 countries.

history

In the Soviet Union the magazine was published by DOSAAF . The magazine was awarded the Order of the Red Banner . After the fall of the Soviet Union , the magazine was privatized and registered with the Press and Information Office of the Russian Federation on July 1, 1992.

The magazine's predecessors were:

  • The magazine Radioljubitel (Russian Радиолюбитель for German radio amateur ), first issue published on August 15, 1924, appeared every two weeks.
  • The magazine "Radio wsem" (Russian Радио всем ), first edition published in September 1925, renamed Radiofront (Russian Радиофронт ) in the mid-1930s .

In the late 1930s, Radiofront and Radioljubitel merged. The magazine subsequently appeared under the title Radiofront until July 1941. The first post-war issue was published in 1946 under the name Radio.
