Remigijus Ozolinčius

Remigijus Ozolinčius (born November 14, 1956 in Skomantai , Klaipėda district ; † April 9, 2013 in Kaunas ) was a Lithuanian forest scientist .

Life

After graduating from high school with a gold medal in 1975 at Tauragė Second Middle School , Ozolinčius graduated from Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in 1980 with a degree in forestry engineering . He then worked as a research assistant , from 1987 as senior research assistant, deputy director (1994–1997), director (1997–2010) at the Lietuvos miškų ūkio mokslinio tyrimo institutas in Girionys . In 1985 he received his doctorate and in 1997 he completed his habilitation. From 2000 he taught as a professor at the Vytautas Magnus University Kaunas (from 1995) and from 1999 at the Aleksandras Stulginskis University .

He was the editor-in-chief of Baltic Forestry magazine.
