Radio 1 (Munich)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Radio 1 was the name of a private radio station on FM 89.0 in Munich . The station emerged from the merger of the stations Radio 89 , UFA Radio and Musikwelle Süd , as well as other licensees from the beginnings of private radio in Germany. It broadcast from mid-1985 and ended September 30, 1987. The station was supported by large media companies ( Burda , Kirch ) that were interested in their own radio activities. Moderators of the program were, for example, Stefan Lehmann, Klaus Klump, Peter Niedner, Alexa Agnelli, Stefan Parisius, Norbert Lill, Markus Langemann, Reiner Balin and Cornelia Müller. The astrologer Winfried Noé also began his radio career here. The station was discontinued almost a year before Antenne Bayern started broadcasting. The shareholders of "Antenne" were largely identical to those of Radio 1. Stephan Lehmann , for example, switched to Antenne Bayern after working for Radio 1 .
