Radio New Hope

Radio New Hope eV (RNH) is an evangelical radio broadcaster. He sees himself as a "technical preaching platform for Christian program partners such as Bible-faithful congregations, mission organizations, Bible schools and mission communities". It broadcasts a continuous program via satellite and web radio. The transmitter is based in Lottstetten near Schaffhausen, which is also where the Midnight Call Mission with its German branch is located.

history

The initial internet station was founded in 1998 by Remsen Beitel. Right from the start, the station was ideally connected to the Midnight Call Mission and some other program partners. When it was broadcast via satellite in 2005, the program was expanded to a 24-hour program and additional program partners were added. In May 2007 the transmitter moved from Lehr (OT Wendhausen) near Braunschweig to Lottstetten near Schaffhausen in Germany.

Program and program partner

At the moment (November 2010) around 15 program partners are broadcasting, including the eschatologically oriented Missionswerk Mitternachtsruf , the Biblical Center Breckerfeld and creationist Werner Gitt . The main language is German , but there are also a few other languages, including English , Arabic , Hebrew and the Persian language Farsi . The broadcaster endeavors to involve other program partners in its work. The program includes instructions for working with the Bible , Christian radio plays , Christian experiences of faith (“ testimonies ”), life counseling and broadcasts of worship services . Musical programs are part of the program, but are not a focus of the station.

The program can be received via satellite Astra 19.2 ° East, 12603 MHz horizontal, symbol rate 22,000 and Hotbird 13 ° East, 12597 GHz vertical, symbol rate 27.500 and web stream in three qualities (32/64/128 kB / s ).
