Radio zum Glück is Züri West's eleventh album and was released on August 1, 2001.

For the first time on this album with Züri West, Jürg Schmidhauser, Oli Kuster and Tom Etter were there.

Due to this change in the line-up, there were serious doubts about the continuation of the band in the run-up to this release.

No'ne blues

Since a song entitled Blues was already released on the Züri West album , this song was simply called No'ne Blues .

Obsi nidsi

Obsi nidsi is an adaptation of Upside Down written by Bernard Edwards & Nile Rodgers (first sung by Diana Ross on the Diana album) by Kuno Launer.

When i persuade di nid cha

“Wenn i di nid cha überrede” is the translation of “If I Can't Change Your Mind” (written by Bob Mold for the Sugar album Copper Blue) by Lauener.

Radio fortunately

The title song is a criticism of Lauener's changes in the DRS3 radio program . This means that Lauener was thoroughly satisfied with the program, but is no longer.

The title Radio fortunately was the slogan of DRS3 at that time and was reversed in the song.

The time of the origin and the first appearances of the tour are on Züri West - the blues ... vorus documented.

The album immediately reached number 1 on the Swiss charts and was in the Swiss charts for a total of 13 weeks.
