Radomir Mihailović Točak

Radomir Mihajlović , called Točak ( Cyrillic Радомир Михајловић Точак; born June 13, 1950 in Čačak , Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian guitarist and co-founder of the band Smak .

life and career

He has been playing various string instruments since he was five and began playing the guitar at the age of nine.

As a teenager he was a member of the band Dečaci sa Morave for some time . In 1970 he played in several clubs in Belgium until he returned to Yugoslavia and co-founded the band Smak .

Mihajlović also made a solo career and released several singles, as well as the solo album RM Točak , which he recorded in 1976 with Laza Ristovski . He composed the music for the 1993 Yugoslav film Vizantijsko plavo .

Today he runs his own guitar school in Belgrade and composes music for film and theater .

Awards

In 1994 Mihajlović was awarded the crystal prism for the music in the film Vizantijsko plavo .
