Rafael Bello Peguero
Rafael Bello Peguero (born December 1, 1932 in Baní ) is a Dominican theologian .
Bello Peguero studied medicine and philosophy at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo and obtained a doctorate in both subjects (1956 and 1970). He also completed a degree in theology at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca . During his student days he directed the choir of the Convento de los Dominicos at the Cathedral of Santo Domingo. He was ordained a priest in 1966 and then held various church positions, including as Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Santo Domingo , Pastor of the Cathedral of Santo Domingo and Chaplain of the Templo del Palacio Nacional and at the Hospital Padre Billini . He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Museo de las Casas Reales .
In addition to his doctoral and licensed theses ( Influencia de la personalidad en algunas manifestaciones alérgicas in medicine, Contribución de algunos escolásticos a la Psicología in philosophy and La Música en la Pastoral litúrgica después del Concilio Vaticano I and La Diócesis-Arquidiócesis . Sus pastores in the subject of theology) he edited Documentos del Vicariato Castrense de la República Dominicana (1972), Cofradía de Nuestra Señora del Carmen (1974) and the Obras del Padre Castellanos (from 1975).
