Rafael Gomensoro
Rafael Gomensoro (* 1946 in Montevideo , Uruguay) is a Uruguayan writer .
Gomensoro, who studied literature at the Instituto de Estudios Superiores , was director of the Uruguayan National Library from 1990 to 1993 or 1994, depending on the sources. Since 1968 he has worked as a lecturer in literature. As part of his writing activities, he published Hemisferios del silencio with a prologue by Xavier Abril in 1981 , El redentor in 1983, Las viejas estaciones in 1986 and Uno solo y dos in 1997 . He also wrote for national and international magazines. In 2008 his volume of poetry La memoria que me invento was published .
