Rafael Herlich

Rafael Herlich (born February 18, 1954 in Tel Aviv ) is a Jewish photographer and photojournalist of Israeli origin.

Life

Herlich, who has lived in Frankfurt am Main since 1975 , has been working as a picture chronicler and documentary photographer of Jewish life in Germany since then.

His pictures have been shown in exhibitions at the Jewish Museum in Frankfurt am Main and the Hessian Parliament in Wiesbaden. In 2018 the photo book DiverCity FFM was published in an edition of 1000 copies . Rafael Herlich also works for the weekly newspaper Jüdische Allgemeine .

He has been married since 1982 and has three children.
