Rafael Torres (boxer)
Rafael Torres (* 17th April 1966 in Santiago de los Caballeros ) is a former Dominican boxer in the straw weight .
Professional career
In 1986 he successfully started his professional career. On August 30, 1989, already in his 10th fight, he boxed against Yamil Caraballo for the WBO world championship and won on points. He defended this belt at the end of July of the following year against Husni Ray with a unanimous victory on points and held it until 1993.
In 1999 he ended his career.
