Rafat Mey-Elahy

Rafat Mey-Elahy , stage name "Rafat" (* 1942 in Kermanshah ) is a German-Persian artist / painter .

Life

Rafat was born in Kermanshah (then Persia) in 1942. She has been living and working in Germany as a freelance artist since the 1960s and is a member of the Federal Association of Visual Artists (BBK Aachen / Euregio eV). She has currently been living in Düsseldorf for several years. Rafat found her own style early on, which is characterized by fine brushwork with acrylic paint and gouache on a black background (black cardboard or canvas) and falls into the category of “Fantastic Art”.
