The Tilligerry National Park is a national park in the east of the Australian state of New South Wales , 147 km northeast of Sydney and around 28 km northeast of Newcastle .

The park encompasses the north bank of Tilligerry Creek . There the typical coastal landscape is protected with mangroves . North of the national park is the larger Tilligerry State Conservation Area , a state reserve. To the east, at the tip of the peninsula, is Tomaree National Park , to the north, at Big Swan Bay , is Karuah National Park . Koalas can be seen in the park, which is part of the Tilligerry Peninsula .
