The Kinchega National Park is a national park in the Australian state of New South Wales , about 840 kilometers west of Sydney and 110 km south-east of Broken Hill . To the east, the Darling River forms the boundary of the park. The park was founded on October 1st, 1967 and covers an area of ​​443 km². The operator is the New South Wales National Parks and Wildlife Service .

The park includes Lake Cawndilla and Lake Menindee and forms a significant wetland area for birds. The lakes dried up in early 2008 during the great drought.

In the park are artifacts of Aboriginal -Volks the Paakantji survived.
