The Middle Brother National Park is a national park in north-eastern Australian state of New South Wales . The closest small town is Laurieton . It is located around the middle of the three mountains called the Three Brothers . The northern of these mountains, the Northern Brother or Dooragan , is located in the Dooragan National Park to the northwest .
The park has an area of 1830 hectares. The high annual rainfall and the volcanic soils allow a particularly beautiful eucalyptus forest and warm temperate rainforest to grow there. The flooded gum (Eucalyptus grandis) and the blackbutt (Eucalyptus piluaris) grow in protected locations.
