Pebbly Beach in Murramarang National Park |
The Murramarang National Park is a national park in the southeast of the Australian state of New South Wales , 206 kilometers south of Sydney . It follows the coastline from Long Beach at Batemans Bay north to Merry Beach at Ulladulla . The national park is surrounded by the three state forests Kiola , South Brooman and Benanderrah .
Access
In addition to the Princes Highway , which borders the park to the west, there are various entrances. The two main entrances are in the north at Bawly Point and Merry Beach and in the south at Pebbly Beach and Durras North . The streets in the park are all unpaved.
Pebbly Beach
Pebbly Beach is one of the main attractions in the park. The sandy beach lies between two capes in the middle of the park and is good for swimming and surfing. Inland lies hilly grassland that then turns into woodland.

- Kangaroos graze near the beach. The bird life, especially the parrots , is worth seeing. Goanna dragons live in the area.
