The Wallarah National Park is a national park in eastern Australian state of New South Wales , 83 km north-east of Sydney and 26 km south-west of Newcastle .

In the park, typical coastal landscape is protected south of Caves Beach and east of Lake Macquarie . The Pacific Highway cuts through the park. Possible leisure activities include hiking, swimming, surfing and fishing. Particularly noteworthy is the great opportunity for whale watching .
