The Cedar Falls in Dorrigo National Park

The Dorrigo National Park is a national park in the Australian state of New South Wales , about 580 kilometers north of Sydney . It is located on Waterfall Way in the Great Dividing Range between Armidale and Coffs Harbor two kilometers east of Dorrigo.

The park was founded on October 1st, 1967 and covers an area of ​​119 km². The operator is the New South Wales National Parks and Wildlife Service . The park is part of the Gondwana Rainforests , one consisting of several protected areas, a total of 3,665 km² listed by UNESCO since 1986 World Heritage Site .

In the park there is the “Skywalk”, a walk-on platform in and above the treetops, from which bird watching is possible.
