The Yarriabini National Park is a national park in north-eastern Australian state of New South Wales .

location

Yarriabini National Park is located in the hinterland of the coast, about 379 kilometers northeast of Sydney , 38 kilometers north of Kempsey and 57 kilometers south of Coffs Harbor . To the north is the bongil bongil national park , south of Hat Head National Park .

description

The steep hill carrying dense eucalyptus - primary forest , particularly of species Flooded Gum and Hoon Pine and subtropical rainforest provides the habitat for many endangered animal and plant species. The highest point is Mount Yarrahapinni with a height of 498 meters, which is considered a sacred mountain by the local Aborigines of the Gumbaynggirr and Dunghutti tribes .

The roads in the park are not paved.
