The Indwarra National Park is a national park in the northeast of the Australian state of New South Wales , 421 km north of Sydney and around 40 km south of Inverell .

In the park, located on the New England plateau , you will find the vegetation that was typical of this area in the past, but only remains today.

Public access to this national park is not possible because it is completely surrounded by private land. The local Aborigines used the name "Indwarra" to describe the eucalyptus species ( Stringybark ) that is particularly common there .
